Another Rude Driver Story

Ya'ahowu readers!

Setelah merasakan pengalaman yang tidak menyenangkan dengan driver Go-Jek beberapa waktu lalu, sekarang dapat lagi pengalaman yang bikin kzl dari driver Grab Bike.

Jadi ceritanya pada tanggal 28 Mei 2018, gue habis pulang kerja. Setelah turun dari KRL di salah satu stasiun di Bekasi, gue pun memesan ojek online via Grab. Akhirnya dapatlah satu driver. Setelah beberapa menit, ngga muncul-muncul, maka rasa cemburu penasaran gue pun muncul.

"Abang dimana?"
"Kok ngga ngabarin aku?"
"Aku khawatir."
"Aku kesepian."

Oke lebay. Ngga gitu sih ceritanya.

Gue chat lah si driver, tanya dimana posisinya. Si driver pun menjawab "Maaf mas kepencet. Cencel aja ya (iya dia nulisnya cencel). Saya mau pulang."

Kepencet? Nyuruh cencel cancel? Mau pulang?

Heyyyyy.. Semena-mena e'e sekali ngana.

Gue pun tidak mau cancel karena bukan gue yang berhalangan untuk dijemput. Kalau seperti itu, maka gue pun meminta untuk driver yang membatalkan orderan. Driver kekeuh tidak mau cancel karena katanya pengaruh dengan intensif yang dia dapat (iya dia nulisnya intensif, bukan insentif). Kalau sudah begini, silent treatment pun gue lakukan. Gue diam, tidak membatalkan, dan pesan ojek lagi via ojek online saingan. Setelah dapat, dijemput, dan diantar pulang (terima kasih abang driver satu lagi!), gue tiduran dan guling-guling bentar di lantai. Puas, lalu gue cek cellphone gue, ada notification dari Whatsapp. Gue buka dan ternyata dari driver Grab yang kekeuh-ngga-mau-cancel itu. Dia ngomel-ngomel ke gue karena gue ngga mau cancel. Nih baca langsung saja deh chatnya dia...

What the hell? Akuh speechless. Tanpa sungkan-sungkan, langsung gue laporin ini driver ke Facebook dan Twitter page Grab Indonesia. Responnya agak lama sih, jadi setelah lapor, gue tinggal tidur saja. Besoknya gue dapat kabar bahwa si driver akan dikenakan sangsi.

Ini bukan kali pertama gue disuruh cancel sama driver. Dalam seminggu sudah ada 3 drivernya yang demikian. 2 akhirnya nyerah setelah dikasih silent treatment, yang 1 ngomel-ngomel. Heyyy...

Jadi begini ya agan-agan driver, kalau memang saya yang salah order/ngga mau nunggu, ya pasti akan saya cancel.
Tapiiii kalau agan-agan yang terhormat yang ngga mau jemput karena salah pencetlah, mau ke arah lain/pulang, then it's your problem.

Jadi tolong banget itu otak digunakan lebih maksimal lagi gitu 😭

Ya semoga sih ada perbaikan yang lebih baik dalam sistem pembayaran Grab dan pelayanannya.

Pengalaman Dengan Driver Curang

Mau berbagi pengalaman sedikit nih. Sejak ojek online muncul, gue merasa terbantu sekali karena bisa naik ojek dengan tarif yang cukup terjangkau. Selama gue menggunakan layanan ojek online pun, belum pernah mendapatkan pengalaman yang tidak menyenangkan.

Tapi jalan ngga selamanya lurus, akhirnya gue pun merasakan hal yang tidak menyenangkan hai. Jadi semalam (13 Juli 2017), gue tiba di Stasiun Kranji sekitar pukul 23.00 WIB. Dari situ gue bermaksud pulang ke rumah menggunakan GO-RIDE by GO-JEK. Gue pun order dengan pembayaran menggunakan GO-PAY, dan mendapatkan driver yang bernama Bima Briyan Effendy.

Lalu gue menunggu di tempat. Selama beberapa menit, gue lihat di aplikasi, sang driver ngga bergerak-gerak dari tempatnya. Gue berpikir mungkin koneksi internet gue kali ya yang lagi error. Gue pun me-minimize aplikasi dengan ekspektasi si driver akan menghubungi gue kalau sudah sampai. Setelah gue tunggu beberapa menit, driver ngga juga menghubungi gue. Gue buka aplikasi lagi untuk lihat posisi dia dimana. Ternyata posisinya sudah sampai! Celingukanlah gue mencari-cari si driver yang teteup ngga ketemu juga. Gue telepon si driver namun ngga dijawab-jawab dong! (#posesip). Gue cek aplikasi lagi, posisinya dia sudah melewati gue dan statusnya ON THE WAY WITH YOU (see picture above).

What the heck?

Perasaan gue ngga enak..

Gue pernah dengar tentang driver-driver yang suka curang kalau kita bayar dengan kredit, dan akhirnya gue mengalami sendiri 😱. Si driver ini seolah-olah sudah pick up gue dan on the way to lokasi tujuan supaya dia tetap dapat upah tanpa harus mengantar gue. Damn!

Gue berusaha untuk cancel tapi ternyata ngga bisa. Kebetulan ada driver GO-JEK lainnya di sekitar situ.

Gue ceritakan apa yang terjadi, dan dia langsung bilang “laporin saja mas ke customer service.”. Driver tersebut pun ngasih nomor customer service GO-JEK yang langsung gue hubungi. Gue coba hubungi tapi ngga nyambung. Akhirnya gue memutuskan untuk hubungi kalau sudah di rumah.

Ngga lama kemudian, ada report dari aplikasi kalau si driver sudah mengantar sampai tujuan. Tanpa mikir-mikir, langsung gue kasih bintang satu dan gue tulis apa alasannya.

Setelah itu, gue order lagi dengan aplikasi dan pembayaran yang sama. Dapatlah driver dan akhirnya diantar sampai ke rumah. Sampai rumah, langsung gue telepon customer servicenya GO-JEK dan diproses lah sama team customer service. Awalnya gue kira akan ribet prosesnya, ternyata gampang banget dan responsive pula orang-orang customer servicenya. Gue complain sekitar jam 23.45. Mereka bilang akan diproses dan diganti GO-PAY gue yang diambil driver curang itu. Setelah itu gue tidur dan jam setengah 6 pagi ada e-mail masuk dari GO-JEK yang menyatakan bahwa GO-PAY gue sudah diganti dan driver bersangkutan akan diberi sanksi dari mereka. I cannot lie that I am very satisfied with their job. Responsive, quick, and very helpful. Keep up the good work Team GO-JEK!

Good Luck My Friends

A few days ago, I was thinking maybe I should write some of my life stories here. Somehow I need to share and release my feelings, either to friends, animals, or people who don’t care about my life 😁.

So currently I work in an office in Jakarta. I started on February. Yeah I know (and so do my close friends), I’m not the type of person who can work in office.

(conversation between me and my other personalities)

2^nd Persona        : Why?

Me           : Because it’s boring. And stiff. It’s like a place where I work around Dementors.

2^nd Persona        : Then why are you working there?

Me                    : I have to. I mean, my parents want me to.

2^nd Persona        : Why are you listening to your parents?

Me                    : Because they are my parents?

2^nd Persona        : How is that a reason?

Me                    : Well, if you’re an Asian. Your parents rule your life.

2^nd Persona        : So you’re telling me that you are your parents’ puppet?

Me                    : Shut up.

For me, it’s so hard to work in an office. I worked in some offices few times but it didn’t last more than a week. I prefer live in a room with a cockroach rather than work in an office (kidding! Cockroaches are the worst!). I found it’s hard to connect with people in offices. They are so formal I barely understand their languages and jokes.

In this new office, I had to struggle with all the things that I dislike. I had no friends, I rarely laughed, I was so sleepy all the time. I felt like I was a combination of Tin Woodman and Scarecrow from The Wizard of Oz. It all changed a month after I worked there (yes I know, it’s a miracle that I could survive a month). I finally met some people whom eventually will be my friends. They knew I was an English teacher once, so they wanted to study English with me. In short, from our meetings, we often hang out together after and share our stories. They are nice people. Because of them, I find a reason why I should continue to come to office.

It all went well until one of my friends decided to resign from this office. No words can describe how I feel. Sad and upset, yet I also feel happy for him. Call me excessive, but he’s like a brother for me, one of the nicest persons I’ve met. Though I know one day he’ll resign, I didn’t expect this quick. On the bright side, he’ll find a better job in the new place. He needs this. All I can do is support him.

Actually, the others also plan to resign. Which make me think, I’ll be the last person who stays in this office. I’m happy for you guys. I say that from the bottom of my heart. Good luck to all of you.

So long, Bubble...

As a dog lover, what is the hardest thing of having dogs as your pets? For me, the answer is losing them. We constantly lose them as they cannot live as long as humans.

This was my dog. Her name is Bubble. I had her ever since she was tiny puppy. I remember she slept with me on the night, she peed on my bed, she bit my shoes, shirts, and glasses. Yes, she was very naughty, but I loved her so much.

Foto di atas saya ambil pada hari Rabu, 13 April 2016. Seminggu sebelum foto itu diambil, Bubble masih lincah, masih main-main, masih happy. Namun perlahan-lahan, Bubble mulai ngga mau makan. Hari berikutnya dia mulai susah jalan, sampai akhirnya Bubble mulai susah bergerak dan hanya bisa berbaring saja. Akhirnya saya bawa ke dokter dengan harapan Bubble akan sembuh. Setelah diperiksa dokter, hasilnya komplikasi. Bubble kena hepatitis dan infeksi usus. Bubble memang suka makan sembarangan, itulah kenapa dia bisa kena infeksi usus. Sedangkan untuk hepatitis, kemungkinan dia dapat ketika berburu tikus. Bubble harus puasa karena ususnya infeksi, namun di sisi lain dia harus makan banyak supaya hepatitisnya tidak mengganas. Akhirnya dokter cari jalan tengahnya, Bubble harus diinfus. Namun suhu badannya pada saat itu tidak memungkinkan untuk diinfus karena suhu badannya di bawah normal. Dokterpun akhirnya memberi 2 pilihan. Pilihan pertama, dirawat dengan catatan peluang untuk sembuh tidak lebih dari 50%. Pilihan kedua, dibiarkan sampai nafas terakhirnya. Those news broke my heart so bad. I don't wanna say goodbye to my little fella.

Akhirnya saya ambil pilihan pertama dengan harapan Bubble bisa sembuh. Setelah 2 hari dirawat, pada Jumat sorenya saya jenguk Bubble di klinik bersama orang tua. Saya panggil namanya, namun dia seperti kebingungan. Saya tahu, dia akan meninggalkan saya dalam waktu dekat. Setelah menjenguk, akhirnya saya pulang. Ketika baru sampai rumah, dokter menelepon dan memberi kabar bahwa Bubble baru saja meninggal. I knew this was gonna happen. Saat saya mengambil tubuh kakunya di klinik, Bubble terlihat sangat damai.

I'm sorry Bubble, I was too late to get you to the vet.

You're sleeping so tight now. You are not in pain anymore. You're in peace.

I loved you my little fella. I loved you so much.

A Message from Nick Santonastasso

Kita sebagai manusia pasti pernah mengeluh akan beberapa hal. Mengeluh memang bukan suatu hal yang baik untuk dilakukan, apalagi kalau sering dilakukan.

Banyak orang atau teman yang mengingatkan kita untuk bersyukur akan suatu hal, but let's be real, it's not that easy to not complain or whine at something. Gue pribadi, pernah berada dalam suatu keadaan dimana gue sama sekali tidak bisa bersyukur karena pikiran gue sedang dikuasai amarah dan benci yang menyebabkan gue mengeluh, mengeluh, dan mengeluh.

Capek? Pastilah... Mengeluh itu lebih capek ketimbang kerja dan olahraga (sok tau banget gue kayak sering olahraga saja). But once again, tidak semudah yang dikatakan orang lain atau teman untuk tidak mengeluh.

Suatu waktu, gue sedang browsing di Youtube dan menemukan salah satu videonya Nick Santonastasso. Videonya bisa dilihat disini. Setelah lihat video itu, gue jadi malu sama diri gue sendiri. Seorang Nick Santonastasso yang dengan kekurangannya saja bisa mencintai dan menerima dirinya sendiri. Sedangkan gue yang masih punya tubuh yang baik, sering merasa tidak percaya diri dan kadang benci sama apa yang gue punya. Video Nick ini jelas mengingatkan gue supaya gue (dan mungkin kalian juga) untuk bisa mencintai dan menerima diri sendiri. Kalau dipikir-pikir, mencintai diri sendiri itu penting juga, asal tidak berlebihan saja.

Malu ngga sih kalau masih mengeluh setelah lihat video ini? Hehe. Semoga kita semua bisa mengurangi keluhan kita ya. Terkadang bukan keluarga atau teman atau orang terdekat yang bisa menyadarkan dan membukakan mata kita, melainkan orang lain yang tidak kita kenal.

Little Thing Called Friendship

Gue baru sadar, ternyata friendship itu bisa serumit pacaran ya.
Kok bisa?

Jadi begini ceritanya...
Gue sering dibilang sombong karena gue jarang banget nyapa orang-orang di messengers. Lalu timbulah pertanyaan, "Apakah kita harus nyapa teman-teman teman setiap hari?".
Kalau iya berarti gue harus menyapa jutaan ratusan teman gue dong? [cengok] [zoom in] [zoom out]

Lalu yang ada pikiran gue begini kira-kira...

Cerita lain...
Jadi gue punya beberapa orang yang gue sebut sahabat. Kita sudah bertahun-tahun temanan. Dan pada suatu hari, ternyata orang tersebut ternyata tidak menggangap gue sebagai sahabatnya. Sakit sih... tapi yaudahlah ya.

Akhirnya gue pun merenungkan kata-kata teman gue pas lagi pup. Mungkin gue memang bukan teman yang baik. Tapi percaya deh, gue bukan orang sombong kok karena ngga ada yang bisa gue sombongkan selain kemampuan gue yang bisa tidur dimana saja kapanpun gue ngantuk (which is useless) -__-


Jadi begini ya teman-teman sekalian...
Kalau kalian tanya "Kenapa sih lo jarang banget nyapa gue di messenger?".
Jawaban gue adalah gue memang susah untuk membuat percakapan di messengers. Gue bukan orang extrovert yang suka bercerita setiap hari. Gue lebih suka jadi pendengar ketimbang jadi pembicara. I ain't trying to be cool. I'm just a dork who can't stand small talk.

Kalau ada yang nanya "Kok lo jarang cerita sih tentang lo?"
Sekali lagi gue bilang kalau gue lebih suka menjadi pendengar ketimbang jadi pembicara. Jujur saja, gue bukan orang yang terbuka. Gue ngga gampang untuk percaya sama orang, dan kalau ada dari kalian yang pernah mendengar cerita atau curhatan gue, berarti gue percaya sama kalian.

Jadi buat semua teman gue yang mungkin kecewa dengan gue karena alasan apapun, gue minta maaf. Maaf ya kalau gue jarang banget share tentang gue atau masalah-masalah gue ke kalian. Maaf mungkin gue ga bisa selalu ada pas kalian butuh, atau bisa selalu kasih kalian hadiah / kejutan di hari ulang tahun kalian.

Yang pasti sih, gue selalu mencoba untuk menjadi teman yang baik buat kalian. Ya mungkin gue ga bisa selalu ada atau bisa ngasih kalian saran-saran yang baik. Gue mungkin bukan seperti teman kalian pada umumnya. Tapi gue sangat menghargai our friendship karena kalian merupakan bagian dari hidup gue dan ngga sedikit yang sudah baik dan banyak membantu gue. Gue berusaha untuk membantu kalian disaat kalian butuh, berusaha menjadi pendengar yang baik, dan berusaha mendukung apapun yang kalian mau capai walau mungkin gue ga selalu di pihak kalian. Mungkin itu ngga cukup untuk kalian, tapi sampai saat ini itulah yang bisa gue lakukan ke kalian. So maaf atas keterbatasan gue.

Oldie But Goodie part 1

Akhir-akhir ini lagi suka banget dengerin lagunya The Andrews Sisters.
One of their hits, "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy", can be heard on Pitch Perfect 2 and Pentatonix's Evolution of Music.
Gue jadi penasaran sama lagu ini. Akhirnya gue cari di Youtube lalu gue dengerin, tapi ga ada suaranya. Eh ternyata gue mute volumenya. Setelah gue dengerin, ternyata keren! It's so catchy I'm gonna die!

Pertama lihat nih video, gue jadi keinget sama oma gue. Padahal ga ada hubungannya. Cuma gue jadi ngebayangin saja oma gue dulu muda kayak mereka. Nyanyi sambil nari-nari lincah gitu. Hahaha...

Ada satu lagi lagu mereka yang gue suka, judulnya "Don't Sit Under the Apple Tree".

Videonya merupakan video favorite gue because it's so funny and entertaining.



Entah mengapa mendengarkan musik-musik mereka jadi bikin gue senyum sendiri. Habis di video clipnya mereka kelihatan cheerful banget, padahal setahu gue itu pas jaman-jamannya World War II.
Anyway, spreading happiness and cheer are better than spreading negativity right?

Birthdays!

Birthday is the most special day for most people. While the anti-mainstream people hide their birthdays for some reasons. The rest of them? Simply forgot about it because they think that birthdays are not too important for them. Well, whatever the reason, I think birthday is important because it is the time to celebrate and show how special a person for us (at least for me). Even though mostly I cannot give them a birthday present nor surprise (I have no specialty in surprising people), at least I try to greet or give them a birthday cake with birthday candles (you know, the make-a-wish time).

I'm back! hahaha.. setelah lama saya campakan.. akhirnya saya menulis di blog ini lagi hahaha..

kali ini saya mau memposting beberapa video yang diambil sudah cukup lama.. tepatnya tanggal 16 November 2010..
saat itu lagi UTS tuh.. cuma berhubung ujian cepat kelarnya.. akhirnya saya dan teman-teman memutuskan untuk kongkow (bahasa gaulnya nongkrong gitu) di kosan teman saya, sebut saja Clover (ROFL)..
nah disitu terbersit lah ide merekam video acoustic..

this is our first video.. we were trying to sing Officially Missing You.. dengan saya pada vocal.. dan, sebut saja Ardnahc, pada gitar.. cekidot gan!

Surprise, Birthday, and Friends :)

howdy howdy people!
hope you're all fine :D
ini postingan pertama gw di tahun 2011 (blogger macam apa gw?) hahaha.
langsung saja ya!

jadi tanggal 21 Maret kemarin gw ulang tahun (gak usah tanya yang ke berapa!!)
gw sudah punya feeling sih bakal ada surprise dari 2 teman gw (Gaby & Cathy), tapi gw gak tahu bakal seperti apa surprisenya.. dan ternyata sekali lagi di tahun ini mereka sukses buat gw tercengang.

mereka buatin video buat gw.. isi videonya ada wishes dari teman-teman SMA gw (Bella, Yunita, Thyo, Nanda + Maya adiknya Bella, Unyil, Putri, dan Bimo), teman SMP gw (Raygi), dan (yang paling mengejutkan) teman-teman kuliah gw!! niat banget dia! haha.

"kok bisa??"
itu merupakan pertanyaan yang selalu gw tanya berulang-ulang.. pasalnya kan si Gaby gak kenal mereka.. gw benar-benar speechless disitu.. surprise banget! benar-benar keren deh! (Y)

setelah acara itu.. eh malamnya si Bella & Thyo datang ke rumah bawa kue.. niatnya mau kasih surprise tapi gagal.. soalnya gw lagi gak di rumah saat itu.. better luck next time guys! hahaha.

besokannya (tanggal 22) gw kira sudah selesai tuh.. secara ulang tahun gw kan cuma sehari :P
sekitar jam 11-an malam WIB.. gw baru baca PMnya Cicil di YM.. dia bilang "buka FB!".. oke lah gw langsung ke TKP.. penasaran ada apa..
setelah gw lihat wall.. ada video dengan judul "happy birthday ALDIONG".. langsung tuh gw play.. selama video itu berjalan, perasaan gw campur aduk.. senang, bahagia, terharu jadi satu.. gila!!! di video itu mereka menyanyikan lagunya Harlem Yu - Qing Fei De Yi (benar gak tuh?) tapi lyricnya sudah diubah sedemikian rupa sehingga saya ngakak dan terkesima.. thanks guys! hahaha.

A Little Lesson

Beberapa hari ini gw membaca buku yang terkenal dan sudah tidak asing lagi, Chicken Soup for the Soul : Love Stories. Di buku ini diceritakan kisah-kisah cinta dari beberapa orang yang bisa membuat kita lebih memahami dan mengerti tentang cinta. Tidak hanya itu, kita juga bisa belajar dari kisah orang lain bagaimana mereka menjalani kehidupan cinta mereka dan bagaimana mereka mengatasi rintangan yang dapat memisahkan mereka.

Jujur gw belum membaca buku ini sampai selesai, baru beberapa cerita saja yang gw baca. Dari beberapa cerita yang gw baca, ada 1 cerita yang berjudul “Setelah Bertahun-tahun” (by: Becky Povich). Intinya sih cerita ini tentang perjalanan cintanya Becky, dimana dia gagal dalam pernikahannya yang pertama dan menemukan cinta sejatinya di pernikahan kedua (FYI, pernikahan keduanya sudah bertahan >25 tahun). Dalam 25 tahun itu pun tidak sepenuhnya mereka rukun. Layaknya pasangan-pasangan yang lain, Becky pun pernah bertengkar dengan suaminya, namun mereka bekerja keras untuk mempertahankan pernikahannya.
Mungkin terdengar membosankan, tapi di akhir cerita ada kalimat Becky yang membuat gw tersadar, “Dan karena aku hanya satu kali hidup di bumi ini, aku akan selalu bersyukur…” .

Yuph! Setelah membaca kalimat yang terakhir gw sadar, kalau manusia dan makhluk hidup yang lain hanya hidup satu kali di bumi ini. Setelah mati, manusia biasa tidak dapat bangkit kembali dan memulai kehidupan kembali dari awal layaknya burung Phoenix. Yang mau gw tekankan disini, karena kita hanya hidup satu kali maka pakailah kesempatan itu sebaik-baiknya. Dan karena ini basicnya cinta, kalau kalian punya seseorang yang kalian cintai, maka gunakanlah waktu kalian sebaik-baiknya bersama orang yang kalian cintai. Jangan sampai kalian menyesal karena kalian tidak tahu kapan kalian akan berpisah.
